Learning Groups have proved to be very fundamental in establishing and building relationships between ECD centres/caregivers and schools/teachers, successful peer to peer learning during the Course, joint planning of transition activities etc. Using the mapping information collected we are creating learning groups comprising of an ECD centre and primary school on the minimum.
The project officers are orienting caregivers and teachers on how to go about the Course as well as the CACD and further facilitate development of a provisional schedule for the course which will include when the caregivers and teachers should have peer to peer sessions, learning group meetings and which module to cover.
