In order to achieve a systemic change towards school readiness in the three districts of our focus, it is necessary that all relevant stakeholders on a national level, particularly government and national authorities, gain ownership of the initiative. Documentation and communication of achieved results are being understood as crucial in this regard. Important momentums are the participation and presentations in the Technical Group Meetings and the formal reporting to the Government on a bi-annual basis in the framework of the MoU.

On a local level community meetings are crucial to be organised to share information, distribute leaflets and collect feedback in order to enlist buy-in and support from local leaders (political, spiritual, and traditional) as the community’s gate-keepers. All our activities are documented, including community information sessions on issues around child development and the role of the community and any dialogue around school readiness and transition. We have strategically collaborated with departments of all key ministries at district levels and their community support structures need to be strengthened.
